Dr. Douglas Tapper is pleased to be associated with Dr. Gabe Allende at the Center for Anti-aging and Weight Loss.
Dr. Tapper graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BS degree and then completed a PhD program in Biological Chemistry at Harvard University. Following post doctoral research at Stanford he entered medical school at Stanford graduating in 1985.
Dr. Tapper completed an internal medicine residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston and Stanford Hospital followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Stanford. Dr. Tapper is currently board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases.
Dr. Tapper has cared for critically ill patients for many years and has met the challenge of diagnosing and treating complex medical problems as a pulmonary and critical care physician. As an Internist he cared for a diverse panel of patients providing general medical care with the goal of disease prevention and achieving wellness.
Now in association with Dr. Allende, Dr. Tapper can continue to assist in keeping patients healthy and achieve their goals of feeling better, looking better and maintaining active life styles.
